

Ben Nevis, Mountain Track
Ben Nevis is the UK’s highest mountain in the UK sitting at 1345 metres in the Scottish Highlands. This is a superb mountain giving incredible views out to the Islands of the West Coast and inland across the mountains. Although a straightforward ascent via the mountain track there are some considerable hazards for those who are not proficient with a map and compass.
We offer guided ascents via the mountain track giving a fun and informative ascent of the countries highest mountain.

Journey detail
This is a full mountain day taking the standard mountain track to the summit and returning via the route of ascent.
- Start point Glen Nevis Visitor center
- Ascent to half way lochan
- Crossing the Red Burn
- Zig Zags to summit
- Return via the route of acent
- Finish point Glen Nevis visitor center
This route takes people on average eight hours. A good level of fitness is required. This is a walking route and there is no roped climbing or scrambling via this route or requirement for any previous mountain experience.
We meet at the Glen Nevis Visitor Center at 08:00am for a safety brief & kit check from your guide. A full kit list is availible on the website and will be emailed to you upon booking.
