Winter Expedition

Dates:

OPEN: Our two day winter expedition Course runs every Saturday & Sunday from January through to the 1st of April.

PRIVATE: Tailored to your dates anytime between December to April 1st.

Cost:

OPEN: £350pp for the 2 days.

PRIVATE: £300 1 - 3 persons per day

£360 3 - 6 persons per day

RATIO: 1 instructor to 6 Guests

Location

All open courses are delivered in the Cairngorms.

Private courses can be delivered in any Highland location.

Skill : Winter Skills

We deliver comprehensive training on the essential skills for winter mountain travel as we go. This includes movement on snow and ice with ice axe and crampons. Winter navigation and also avalanche awareness and avoidance.

Summits : Where do we go?

Our overnight expeditions are in the Cairngorms national park and enter from the Northern end. We tailor the overnight to the conditions and group ability and objectives. Just get in touch to chat this through with us.

Equipment : What's Included?

We have a full winter kit list. In addition we offer ice axe, crampons, helmet, goggles along with a map and compass within your course fee. We can arrange the hire of winter mountain boots in locally should this be required. We provide all camping equipment excluding sleeping bags.
