Sport Climbing

Sport climbing (use of pre fixed bolts) has become much more common in recent years making many more cliffs accessible for climbing. Inverness is well positioned in the Highlands with access to numerous sport climbing venues where we can deliver introductory courses to help develop the skills for safe sport climbing.

Open: Run every weekend from the 1st of April until the 1st of November

Private: Anytime between the 1st of April and the 1st of November.

We deliver guided climbing or coaching the skills for independent safe sport climbing.

Skills : Details

Tying in, clipping bolts, lowering and retreating from sport climbs, grading and route choice.

Kit : What's included?

We have a detailed Summer Kit List. We provide all but clothing. All hardware and ropes. Helmet, Harness and associated belay plate are included in the cost. First aid kit and safety gear is all provided by the instructor.
