Sgur Nan Gillean
Knights Peak or Sgurr Nan Gillean is a summit at the Northern end of the Cuillin Ridge and offers no easy way to its pointed summit. We can offer an ascent via its easiest route which still involved narrow and exposed scrambling or via its other routes making a traverse of the mountain. The more technical Pinnacle Ridge is also a superb mountaineering day with rock climbing and endless scrambling ending on its airy summit. This is often combined with its neighbour Am Bastier. We can combine your experience, conditions and aspirations to come up with the best option for you to ascend this mountain.

Meeting at the Sligachan parking area for 08:30. We can deliver a briefing and also a quick kit check before we head off.

We offer guided scrambling on the standard SE Ridge. We also offer the West Ridge and harder still Pinnacle Ridge. We match your experience with conditions to come up with the best plan.
Routes : Which way?
A good level of hill fitness for the big Cuillin days along with a steady head for heights will be sufficient for many summits. Where some more technical skills are required we are able to coach this as we go.
