Skill : Winter Skills
We deliver comprehensive training on the essential skills for winter mountain travel as we go. This includes movement on snow and ice with ice axe and crampons. There is no requirement for prior winter experience.

Kit : What's included
We have a full winter kit list. In addition we offer ice axe, crampons, helmet, goggles along with a map and compass within your course fee. We can arrange the hire of winter mountain boots in Aviemore should this be required.

Summit : The Mountain Track
Our summit route uses the summer mountain track starting and finishing at the Glen Nevis Visitor centre. This takes us to the summit and back in approximately eight hours. Although an easy track in summer winter creates a much more demanding ascent.
Ben Nevis Winter
The Uk’s highest mountain is a must do at any time of the year but especially when its covered in snow and ice during the winter months. During the winter the large and obvious summer path all but vanishes making the standard route up a much more serious venture. We offer guided ascents via the mountain track in winter teaching the essential skills for winter mountain travel such as the use of axe and crampons as we go. This is a long but rewarding mountain journey.
