Intro Rock Climbing
Our introductory rock climbing courses are aimed at those who would like to get going with traditional leader placed protected rock climbs. This course is for those who wish to develop their understanding of traditional climbing and understanding equipment and systems of safe climbing. This course is also ideal for those who are making the move from indoor rock climbing to real rock. We also cover an understanding of grades, climbing styles and other associated techniques and topics.
Course : Essential Rock Skills
This course goes into the skills required to be a competent second on traditional rock climbs. This then delivers the skills to go out and gain the experience before taking on the lead.

Tying into the rope and anchors, belaying, understanding & removing protection placements, self protected abseils & building anchors.
Kit : What's Included?
We have a detailed Summer Kit List. We provide all but clothing. All hardware and ropes. Helmet, Harness and associated belay plate are included in the cost. First aid kit and safety gear is all provided by the instructor.
