Am Bastier

While many will be drawn to the impressive images of the ‘Inn Pinn’ Am Bastier offers just as much of a challenge. A knife edge fin of rock with climbing and mountaineering history written all over it an ascent of this makes for a superb day out and another of the Cuillins more technical Munro summits achieved. We offer guided ascents of Am Bastier either in isolation or as part of a linked journey with other Northern Munros.

There are a few options along with the standard West Ridge. The Tooth and Kings Cave for example, we combine both both your experience and conditions to create the best day for you.

Route : Options

A good level of hill fitness for the big Cuillin days along with a steady head for heights will be sufficient for many summits. Where some more technical skills are required we are able to coach this as we go.

Meeting at the Sligachan parking area for 08:30. We can deliver a briefing and also a quick kit check before we head off.
