Our Cairngorm winter expeditions offer an incredible opportunity to explore the heart of this stunning mountain range on a two-day journey. With an overnight stay in the wilderness, you'll venture towards iconic objectives such as Ben Macdui, the UK’s second-highest mountain, or the remote and breathtaking Braeriach. Each itinerary is carefully planned to match the group’s ability while considering the best winter conditions to ensure a safe and rewarding experience.

Throughout the expedition, our experienced instructors will teach essential skills for safe winter mountain travel, including ice axe and crampon techniques. These skills are delivered in a hands-on manner as we navigate through the terrain, building confidence in winter conditions. All necessary technical equipment is included in the course cost, so you can focus entirely on the experience.

This immersive two-day programme features two full days in the mountains, with one night spent at a location chosen to suit the prevailing conditions.
