GUIDED SCRAMBLING

Scrambling or summer mountaineering is where rock climbing and hillwalking merge to give more technical ascents requiring a rope and some climbing techniques. Scotland is arguably the best area in the UK giving some fine mountaineering excursions: the famed Skye (Cuillin) Ridge, the big ridges of Ben Nevis and the wild rugged summits of the North West Highlands. Our guided days are focussed on some of the classic scrambles and climbs found throughout the Highlands. Areas such as the North West Highlands, Glen Coe and Ben Nevis and the Cainrgorm National Park offers superb excursions. We are able to offer introductory scrambles through to more technical and demanding journeys and also some hidden classics that avoid the busier venues.

We can provide a harness, helmet and belay plate covered within your course cost. We provide all the hardware and ropes required a long with a first aid kit and other mountain safety equipment. We have a full kit list on the site and are happy to help answer any questions you may have.
